The Establishment of LSP ELSEMI

 As a strategic step and a direct follow-up to the enactment of the Indonesian National Work Competency Standards (SKKNI) Number 130 of 2024 for the semiconductor sector, the Indonesian Semiconductor Industry Practitioners Association (PPISI) proudly announces the initiative to establish the Electronics Semiconductor Professional Certification Body (Lembaga Sertifikasi Profesi), named LSP ELSEMI.

The establishment of LSP ELSEMI reflects PPISI's commitment to building a globally competitive semiconductor industry ecosystem. The process began with the active involvement of PPISI members in the SKKNI formulation team and has progressed to designing certification schemes that are relevant to the current and future needs of the industry.

The primary objective of LSP ELSEMI is to conduct competency certification for professionals in the Indonesian semiconductor industry, ensuring that every worker possesses standardized and nationally recognized skills 

 BNSP Verification and Assessor Readiness

Currently, LSP ELSEMI is in the final stages of the verification and licensing process by the National Professional Certification Agency (BNSP).

In preparation for its operational launch, LSP ELSEMI successfully conducted a Competency Assessor Training in collaboration with BNSP from August 11th to 15th, 2025. We are pleased to announce that this training has resulted in 9 new Competency Assessors who are now ready to conduct competency assessments in the semiconductor field.

This milestone underscores LSP ELSEMI's readiness to commence operations soon and to become a strategic partner for the industry in producing certified and highly skilled talents..
